The Gig:
This position requires a strong understanding of Corporate finance. The Candidate must be able to analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating financial models for decision support. Be able to improve performance status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management. Assist with annual, quarterly and monthly forecasting. Expected to create and provide insight analysis and presentations to upper management.

What You'll Be Up To:

Work with business Owners to create budget/forecast for ship operation, sales & marketing, and Admin Expense
Prepare analysis and reporting of related financials. Identify key drivers of performance and implement improvements where necessary.
Assist in monthly closing activities such as recording entries, review, research and preparation of monthly variance explanations, accruals and analytical support to Management.
Develop reporting tools as needed by departments
Perform other duties and adhoc reporting as assigned

Superpowers Required:

Four-year Bachelor's in Finance, Business or equivalent. MBA Preferred
3-5 Years experience
High level utilization of Microsoft Suite applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Knowledge of GAAP
Excellent written and verbal communication required along with interpersonal skills across various levels of management
Advanced analytical skills should include mathematical modeling; broad exposure to operations research, and statistics
Self-starter, able to operate with little guidance in startup Environment
