Description
To fulfill this role, the Actuarial Analyst will:
- Request, gather, and review client data to assist in the preparation of actuarial valuations and participant statements and perform required financial analyses using proprietary and third-party software.
- Reconcile and review assets from appropriate financial institutions for plan valuations.
- Prepare government forms, including Form 5500 and schedules, PBGC Premium filings, and Form 1099R
- Assist senior consultants in design proposals of retirement programs for prospective and current clients
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field of study
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Ability to work in teams with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to achieving ASA/FSA and EA designations
- Having passed at least one SOA exam is a plus
Pay:
$60, $75,000.00 per year
