    Job Title: IT Support Specialist

    About the Company: Our company is a leading tech firm that values innovation and excellence in providing IT solutions to our clients.

    The Work:

    • Provides end-user support for PC hardware, software applications, operating systems, peripherals, and communication devices.
    • Recommends system modifications to enhance user experience and minimize issues.
    • Resolves basic technical problems efficiently.

    The Requirements:

    • Responds to user assistance requests by managing incident report tickets and ensuring timely resolutions.
    • Diagnoses and resolves incidents related to passwords, software, and business operations following defined procedures.
    • Installs software, troubleshoots errors, and assists users with software usage.
    • Handles incidents concerning computer hardware, LAN/WAN systems, and security, escalating when necessary.
    • Maintains a knowledge database with issue resolutions for user self-support troubleshooting.

    Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in computer hardware, operating systems, and IT procedures.
    • Knowledge of PC operating systems (Windows XP and Windows 7) and network operating systems.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and IT infrastructure components.
    • Familiarity with ITIL principles.
    • Effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
    • Sound judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to recommend solutions.
    • Effective time management and workload organization.
    • Flexible work schedule and availability for on-call duty.
    • Continuous learning in a dynamic technology environment.
