    Job DescriptionVaco Phoenix is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist for a top client in West Phoenix AZ This Payroll Specialist will be the only person handling payroll for this company, processing for over 300 employees. This is a direct hire position paying up to $65k/yr and offering a hybrid work schedule (1 day a week from home). Interviews are being held this week
    Responsibilities:
    • Weekly + Biweekly process
    • 300+ employees
    • Multi state (AZ, CA, NV, Utah, WA, ID)
    • Garnishments
    • Will closely work with HR
    • Bilingual is a plus, but not required
    Job Requirements:

    • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and relevant legal regulations

    • Proficiency with payroll systems Paycom preferred, Workday, Oracle and other systems experience acceptable

    • Working knowledge of MS applications, including proficiency with Excel

    • High personal standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism

    • Ability to multi-task assignments, projects, and daily responsibilities with accuracy and high level of comfort working with all levels of employees

    • Excellent mathematical skills and basic knowledge of GL accounting

    • Ability to grow and develop a team

    • Attention to detail and accuracy a must
