Job Title: Sales General Manager

With the headquarters located in Maryland, we specialize in providing high-quality reproductive solutions to the agricultural industry, catering to the needs of dairy farmers and livestock breeders nationwide.

Job Description:

As the Sales General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our sales operations within the bovine reproductive solutions industry. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our sales strategy, leading a team of sales professionals, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Sales Strategy:

Collaborate with senior management to develop a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company objectives and market trends.
Identify key target markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities within the bovine reproductive solutions industry.
Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and KPIs to measure and track sales performance.

Lead Sales Team:

Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team specialized in bovine reproductive solutions.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to sales representatives to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

Client Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including dairy farmers, livestock breeders, and agricultural cooperatives.
Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and exceptional customer service.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted promotional campaigns and initiatives to attract and retain clients.

Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats in the bovine reproductive solutions market.
Conduct regular market research and analysis to stay abreast of emerging technologies, products, and best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with other departments, including R&D, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of sales activities with overall business operations.
Provide input and feedback to product development teams based on customer insights and market demand.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in the bovine reproductive solutions industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of bovine reproductive technologies, frozen semen, and embryo production processes.
Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Location: Maryland, USA

Note: Candidates must have prior experience specifically within the bovine reproductive solutions industry to be considered for this role.
