- Provide configuration management of nacelle and aerostructure assemblies and components.
- Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to configuration management plans in support of the design development and production processes.
- Interface with customers, partners, suppliers, and internal functions to establish configuration baselines.
- Coordinate and track configuration changes and compliantly process engineering changes.
- Chair program Configuration Change Boards to review change requests, determine change classifications and impacts to the business, and drive the engineering change process.
- Execute product processes to ensure configuration control throughout the product lifecycle.
- Perform and support configuration management audits as required.
- Generate, control, and maintain documentation of configuration management data relative to configuration changes and audits.
- Drive team to meet the KPIs for Configuration Management Processes.
- Review configuration management process effectiveness and efficiency and drive continual process improvement with internal functions as well as with customers and suppliers, to meet product and program requirements.
- Facilitate and ensure proper implementation of CM process in Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) system.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, business, IT or Information/Data Management with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical and organization ability with attention to details and thoroughness with documentation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with Integrated Product Teams and interact with customers.
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Ability to address and manage conflict.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite like Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience in a PLM system to manage configurations.
