- These duties can include, but are not limited to loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Unpacking freight, placing received material in proper storage locations.
- Move/relocate material using pallet jacks or carts.
- Scrapping/cutting of excess material, maintain the cleanliness of warehouse and production floor. Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience supporting warehousing activities.
- Previous experience reading/interpreting warehouse storage plans preferred.
- Experience with the operation of standard office equipment (phones, computer, fax, copiers).
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.
- Must have Interim Secret clearance to start on program and obtain final Secret to remain on program. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting warehousing activities.
- Previous experience reading/interpreting warehouse storage plans.
- Experience with the operation of standard office equipment (phones, computer, fax, copiers).
- Recent experience at NATSC Newport as a Material Handling Laborer or equivalent. This role is covered by the Service Contract Act. This position will pay $18.85 per hour.
