    The Livestream Event Specialist position will report to the Director of Events and work hands-on with a wide range of video productions with an emphasis on livestreaming. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in livestreaming/video production along with content creation, media platforms/formats, signal flow and pre-production organization. Applicant must be able to take direction and collaborate in a fast-paced work environment. Some evenings and weekend availability will be required

    We are looking for candidates who have a passion for live/video productions and are eager to support every event that happens at the Los Angeles Film School. This job is a great opportunity to work within production in many shapes/styles and offers experience in various formats.

    **Responsibilities:**

    Conduct equipment tests/shoots/streams in preparation for upcoming events to offload recordings for review.

    Assist and execute live/recorded video productions assigned whether in person or virtually.

    Help organize/create/upload video content for various archives, including social and student portals, for future usage.

    Keep inventory of equipment/gear in an organized fashion in proper storage areas.

    Monitor incoming proper legal forms for the conducting of live/recorded events.

    Work as a liaison between proper departments for various projects.

    Setup/Breakdown equipment/assets before and after productions in a neat and organized manner to be returned to storage whether in person or virtual.

    Collaborate with the livestream/events team to plan/produce/support events endeavors.

    Assist in postproduction needs of the creative team, video editing/exporting assets to be used for various projects.

    **Skills Required:**

    Comfortable around video and audio equipment, specifically camera operating.

    Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Pr, Ae, Au), Livestream software (Wirecast/Livestream Studio/OBS). Photoshop skills are considered a plus.

    + Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

    + Use initiative and good judgment to coordinate and implement special projects

    + Must be able to multi-task and prioritize a heavy workload with tight deadlines

    + Looking for someone who can work independently, and has a strong work ethic

    + Strong understanding of social networking and social media

    + Strong communication and customer service skills (Will be public/talent fronting)

    + Must be able to exercise sound judgment in a timely fashion

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community

    + Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

    + Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point

    + Collaborative and able to able to work with a team in a positive work environment.

    + Comfort managing multiple projects; extremely organized and detail oriented.

    **Experience Required:**

    Preferred degree in video production or any other related field.

    2+ years minimum of related work with livestream and video production.
