Job Summary:


Lead Escape Spa marketing efforts to increase the overall number of spa visits, enhance the overall experience and ensure more guests come to experience the exceptional service and offerings of Escape Spa.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Create relationships in the local community to drive future guests to the Escape Spa website, online brochure and ultimately to increase booking of spa services.
  • Assist with creating a budget for a marketing and social media plan
  • Work with Spa Director & product vendors to develop newsletters/guest communications, product promotions, and educational articles to create retail/service excitement.
  • Increase number of new spa guests and events goal is 10% during the next six months.
  • Increase retail purchases by existing customers goal is 15% over the previous year.
  • Increase the percentage of retail sales per ticket.
  • Increase local sales of packages and gift certificates; increase redemption rate for gift certificates.
  • Create a marketing calendar to include the following as appropriate: seasonal promotions, seasonless promotions, new service or product launches, vendorrelated promotions, product feature of the month, workshops, demonstration days, etc.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Daily: ensure product and collateral are current, enhance Wine lounge and retail experience by socializing within the spa and providing offerings to guests and frontend staff.
  • Weekly: increase direct sales related Team member contests and secure and deliver prizes
  • Escape Spa events: manage and communicate spa events proactively
  • Create and manage social media platforms and leverage PR opportunities
  • Work with the community and local businesses to create partnerships
  • Create & manage events.
  • Communicate in a professional and timely manner to grow our brand
  • Ensure proactive communication with partnerships
  • Work closely with Spa Director to ensure necessary supplies & staffing are organized for all events to deliver a flawless guest experience.
  • Attend local community meetings and work closely with the leadership team(s) to discuss current and future marketing activities at Escape Spa.
  • Within guidelines provided by the Owner & Spa Director, prepare an annual marketing budget.
  • Support a strong and growing brand/reputation in the community

Position Requirements:


  • Expect to work fulltime including occasional weekends and evenings for marketing events.
  • Lean and understand different dynamics of the spa operations
  • Report monthly/quarterly regarding sales goals as outlined by management.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
  • Communicate respectfully with the spa team
  • Plan and organize proficiently, appreciating the need for systems and budgets
  • Be a person who infuses energy and optimism into the spa business/team
  • Be driven to serve others and impact their lives in an Xtra-Ordinary way
  • Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be detail and multitask oriented with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be proficient with computer skills.

Pay:
$40, $50,000.00 per year
