- Own the overall commercialrelationship, P&L, and responsibility for the Client engagement
- Proactivelymanage the Client engagement through close contact with project owners andkey customer contacts
- Actas project manager for specific areas of client engagement (I.e. ScopeExpansions, Solution Change Requests, etc.)
- UnderstandClient strategies and direction
- Managecustomer expectations according to contracted service level agreement andfinancial objectives to ensure targets are met
- Collect,interpret, and provide the Client-specific requirements to the internal,shared operations team to ensure successful delivery of requested services
- Collaboratewith functional managers & direct reports to establish goals andobjectives for resources allocated to the account team
- Coordinatecontracts and activities across regions to ensure profitable performance ofthe account
- Identifyandsupport projects to drive costsavings and operational improvements for the client and additional revenuefor KN
- Supportdevelopment of internal and external business cases to justify additionalscope, services and projects
- Developopportunities to grow our business with the client
- Collaboratewith internal Customer Analytics Manager to develop, produce and present KPIsfor the Client
- Manageall aspects of direct reports, including but not limited to, goal andobjective management, target setting, performance reviews, hiring decisions,etc.
- Point of escalation for customer concerns
- Ability to resolve customerissues
- Ability to coordinategroups internally
- Ability to makedecisions based on impact to account and global/regional profitability
- University degree in Logisticsor Business-related field
- Minimum 5 years of experiencein managing key logistics processes, such as: warehousing, order executionand transportation operations management
- Strong analytical ability
- Superior interpersonal andrelationship management skills
- Must be highly organizedself-starter and proficient in use of PC/MS office suite
- Understanding of Supply ChainManagement roles and responsibilities
- Ability to link and articulateprocess change to multiple levels within the organization as well as customergroups
- Able to meet objectives withminimal direction from supervision and make sound business decisions
- Strong working knowledge inproject management with demonstrable project/customer focused accomplishments
- Excellent communication andfacilitation skills; one on one and in groups
- Ability to analyze and effectively communicate technicaland business impacts
- Travel (approximately 30%)

YOUR ROLE
The Business Manager is responsible for the commercial client relationship, management of the client contract, client P/L and client specific services including direct management of commercial team resources allocated to the account. The Business Manager ensures that the global and/or regional needs of the customer are being met by KNIL, ensuring the account remains profitable for KNIL business & becomes a strategic relationship partner for growth. The Business Manager will interact across all KNIL internal functions to deliver on the value proposition to the customer and with the other regions to maintain global consistency.
