    User Hero is looking for a passionate, deeply curious engineer to lead our technology development. We're building a platform to help startups talk to their users and make better, faster decisions.

    As our first full-time engineering hire, you'll own development of our core product and help define the technology that create the best possible experience for our users.

    We value fluid, fast paced collaboration where team members have distinct ownership over their areas.

    You're just as comfortable getting into the weeds with programming as you will be planning and strategizing around what technology we should use in the future to continue to provide a radically simple, user-friendly experience.

    About You
    you're a "100x coder"
    3-5 years' professional programming experience
    Excited to build software in a user-centered manner
    Equal parts product-obsessed and business-oriented. More than just knowing how to build something, you have a keen sense of why something is being built and the value our customer receives from that feature
    Comfortable shipping quickly, rigorously testing hypothesis, conducting user interviews, and iterating rapidly
    Equally comfortable planning long term technology architecture/strategy and maintaining high velocity in 1 week sprints
    Highly collaborative and communicative
    Experience architecting software systems for large, scalable applications
    Ability to balance the needs of the business with the execution of the technology, and can think forward several quarters in the future to stay ahead on trends in technology
    An aptitude and willingness to learn, think creatively, experiment, and test assumptions
