- Develop and maintain partnerships with our leaders to learn the business and provide counsel and support on HR related matters.
- Maintain positive relationships with employees to provide support including addressing questions, concerns, and support of development. Provide employee coaching as needed.
- Work closely with management and employees to build culture and morale, increasing productivity and retention.
- Work with leadership to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Provide day to day performance management guidance to managers with employee coaching/disciplinary actions, performance improvement, and career development.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual development needs. Partner with leaders to craft Employee Growth Plans and with the Learning & Development team to identify opportunities for development.
- Analyze available data and employee feedback to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
- Oversee employee onboarding and partners with managers to plan appropriate training & development for new hires.
- Manage the promotion and transfer process to ensure timely review, processing, and communication.
- Responsible for managing employee information in company HRIS and I-9 compliance.
- Lead recruitment efforts and programming for corporate internships and special programs.
- Other responsibilities and project work as assigned.
- 8 years+ of prior experience in Human Resources and knowledge of basic labor regulations and laws
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and/or minimum of 8 years of Human Resources management level roles
- Experienced with resolution of complex employee relation issues, recruiting and talent acquisition, and benefits
- Experience working across multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, and performance management
- Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Suite
- SHRM Certification
- Experience supporting corporate functions including Finance and Information Technology and leading direct reports
- Experience working with HRIS systems including supporting implementation and adoption of new processes and tools
