    **Description**

    Roberts is seeking a talented individual to contribute to the success of the organization as a point person for processing sales orders, managing shipments, sales material, sample design and other customer communication during and after the sales process. The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for assisting Engineering and Sales in producing, testing, and shipping handle samples. This position reports to the Controller and will work closely with our Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Assembly personnel. Minimal travel is required.

    Responsible for the sales process from receipt of the order to shipment of the product, working with Production, Quality, and Finance to ensure orders are produced, made, and shipped according to deadlines

    Coordinate the inside sales activities, sending out sales information and samples, manufacturing of samples

    Receive samples from customers and work with engineering to determine product fit

    Manage the spare parts sales from quote to shipment

    Collect service trip details and develop invoices for customer billing

    Work with technicians to quote service trips for customers

    Responsible for new customer setup

    Assist aftermarket department in identifying worn or broken parts and participate in any customer visit to our facility

    Communicate and coordinate with customer maintenance to resolve technical issues with equipment and any aftermarket parts issues and to coordinate the assembly of any aftermarket shipments

    Work with Quality and customers in handling returns

    Work front desk of facility, answer/route phone calls, greet all visitors

    Stay in regular communication with customers and work with them to ensure their needs are met

    Analyze inquiries to understand product problems and/or weaknesses

    **JOB REQUIREMENTS:**

    High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

    3-5 Years experience in customer service with skills in both inside and outside sales; manufacturing experience preferred

    Manufacturing ERP system experience preferred

    Attention to detail and accuracy is a must

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels

    Desire for personal growth while improving company profitability

    Demonstrated leadership qualities and capabilities

    Self-managing/responsible, energetic and personable demeanor, be self-motivated

    Flexible and dedicated to doing what it takes to get the job done

    Possess good analytical skills with the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress as well as be efficient, detail-oriented, with good follow-up skills.

    Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as strong math skills
