    SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Answer telephone calls within 15 seconds and greet caller in a professional, friendly manner.
  • Make an initial determination about agent request service center call or transfer call.
  • Complete requests for rate quotes, insured closing letters, title orders, limited search authorizations, supply orders, Closing Protection Letters, including any followup.
  • Attend Webinars and trainings geared towards understanding policy preparation and title services.
  • Support Agent Services and Title Services, as needed.
  • Assist Title Services with title search order assignments and quality control.
  • Assist with Form 1099s Service.
  • Completely familiarize self with Company's top agents and staffs in order to provide a high level of service.
  • Process flood certification and place with the thirdparty vendor.
  • Recommend system and product enhancements.
  • Compliance and adherence at all times with the organization's Code of Ethics and Conduct as well as all of our company policies.
  • Assist other areas of the company as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Must be able to handle pressure and have a cooperative, positive, team attitude.
  • Must be customer service oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as written skills.
  • Must be dependable, detail oriented, organized.
  • Must be able to multitask and be a team player.
  • Must have basic arithmetic skills and the ability to use a calculator.
  • Must be able to use multiple computer programs at once.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:


  • 2 years experience as a real estate paralegal in Connecticut or title insurance professional.
  • 2 years experience in a customer service environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Excel. Powerpoint is a plus.
