    The Director of Operations will oversee the daily operations of our CNC Service unit, ensuring that our company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives.

    Top 5 Roles & Responsibilities:
    1.


    People Management:

    • Build and lead a high-performing operations team, including CNC technicians, engineers, and support staff.
    • Develop and implement EOS's People Component by defining clear roles and responsibilities, setting performance expectations, and fostering a culture of accountability.
    • Provide coaching and support to team members, helping them grow and develop within the organization. 2. Process Optimization
    • Identify and document key operational processes related to CNC machine service, including maintenance, repair, scheduling, and quality control.
    • Continuously review and improve processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
    • Ensure that the organization adheres to EOS's focus on creating and maintaining efficient and scalable processes

    3 Data-Driven Decision Making:

    • Implement EOS's Data Component by establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to CNC machine service operations, such as machine uptime, response time, and quality metrics.
    • Collect, analyze, and report on data to monitor the health of the operations and make informed decisions.
    • Use EOS's Scorecard tool to track progress toward operational goals and identify areas for improvement

    4 Customer Satisfaction:

    • Ensure that the CNC machine service company delivers high-quality service and meets or exceeds customer expectations.
    • Implement EOS's Customer Component by defining customer personas, gathering feedback, and making necessary adjustments to improve customer satisfaction.
    • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and seek opportunities for long-term partnerships. 5.

    Integration with the EOS Framework:

    • Act as a key integrator within the EOS framework, working closely with other leadership team members (e.g., the Visionary and the Integrator) to align the company's operations with its vision and strategic goals.
    • Participate in EOS's Level 10 Meetings and other EOS processes to maintain clear communication, identify, and solve issues, and drive the company forward. It's important for the Director of Operations to be well-versed in the EOS framework and its tools, as these principles will guide their decision-making and management approach. Additionally, adapt these responsibilities to the specific needs and goals of the CNC machine service company while staying true to the EOS principles.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in operations management, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
    • 5+ years of experience in a senior operations role, preferably in a CNC or manufacturing environment.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing complex operations.
    • Strong understanding of CNC machinery, technologies, and industry best practices.
    • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies and KPIs.
    • Budgeting and financial analysis skills.
    • Proficiency in computer literacy, including a strong command of essential software applications such as Microsoft Excel, and the ability to adapt to new technologies, is a fundamental requirement for this position

    Travel:
    This position requires frequent travel.

    The successful candidate will be expected to travel, which may include overnight and weekend stays, to meet with clients, attend conferences, and represent the company at various events.

    Travel expenses will be compensated in accordance with company policy. A valid passport and the ability to obtain necessary visas are essential for this role.
