Majestic Care of is currently seeking a passionate,experienced Director of HR Operations, to join our team This position will support our Care Team Members in our facilities on all HR matters.

The position will report to our VP of HR and have 25% travel throughout the midwest.

The Director of HR Operations oversees the human resource functions within the company.

This individual is responsible for managing and ensuring the success of the HR team, while also implementing and maintaining policies and procedures that align with the company's overall strategy.


Responsibilities of the role:


  • Leads and manages the HR team, providing guidance, support, and direction.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Provides consultation to the Regional HR team on matters involving suspensions and/or investigations for best resolution.
  • Provides HR leadership to managers and team members including coaching, mentoring, and professional development. Coach and counsel managers on maintaining positive Care Team Member relations.
  • Develops and implements training and development programs to enhance HR Managers skills and knowledge.
  • Identifies and addresses HRrelated issues and makes recommendations to senior management.
  • Works with carriers and TPAs regarding Workers Compensation claims from start to close.
  • Works closely with brokers and senior leaders to evaluate areas of improvement or streamlining of benefits offerings across the company.
  • Manage and effectively use external consultants, brokers, and thirdparty administrators in the design and administration of our benefit plans.

Required/Desired Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or human Resources
  • 5+ years of progressive human resource experience including benefits, training and development, and leading a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with all levels of the team.
  • Highly ethical. Can be trusted to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Experience in Longterm Care preferred.
