    Position Overview:

    Reporting directly to the President, the Director of Operations will oversee Operations by managing People, Products, and Performance across iTi. This key role involves driving profitability and enhancing performance through a Continuous Improvement Framework, Quality, and Safety to achieve top-notch Operations.

    The Director of Operations will be responsible for all operational activities, strategy, implementation, and performance. As a vital member of the leadership team, they will lead the iTi organization in areas such as interpreting, translations, quality, sourcing, and project management office. Emphasizing continuous improvement, the Director will work towards enhancing operations efficiency and productivity through a Lean mindset, backed by technology investments.

    The Director of Operations serves as a model of the company's mission, vision, core values, and leadership behaviors, playing a crucial role in their implementation.

    THE FOLLOWING KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ENSURE THE SUCCESS OF THIS ROLE:

    • Develop and execute a strategy to streamline operations in alignment with growth strategies:
      • Engage in strategic planning to grasp customer, business, and technical objectives;
      • Implement a strategic roadmap with a focus on change management and operational excellence;
      • Design deployment strategies for labor, capital, and priorities to maintain tactical and strategic objectives;
      • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive business results;
      • Guide CAPEX investments in line with growth strategies;
    • Lead company-wide operations to achieve results on time and within budget across all iTi business operations:
      • Manage operations within various functions such as Interpreting, Translations, QA and QC, and sourcing;
      • Support strategy development initiatives with an empowered operations team;
      • Provide updates to ensure objectives are met;
      • Lead in reviewing projects and introducing new capabilities;
    • Facilitate continuous improvement projects aligned with strategy to deliver short-term and long-term results:
      • Implement lean operations and standardized tools;
      • Oversee continuous improvement projects from initiation to execution;
      • Lead cross-functional process improvement efforts;
      • Address gaps in processes affecting performance, profitability, and quality;
    • Develop a cohesive and high-performing operations team:
      • Enhance training and development for current and future business needs;
      • Optimize talent acquisition to build a top-notch team;
      • Mentor employees to drive strategic objectives and goals;
      • Implement talent recruitment and growth strategies;

    Key success measures for this position include:

    • Meeting year-over-year service levels and operational excellence targets;
    • Timely completion of improvement projects;
    • Cost savings analysis based on initiatives;
    • Ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding project benefits;
    • Complete Lean Six Sigma certification;
    • Profitability and productivity analysis;
    • Analysis of CAPEX investments for strategic goals.

    Requirements:

    EDUCATION and PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEs:

    • Bachelor's degree in technical, engineering, or business discipline;
    • Master's degree in business or operations preferred;
    • At least five years of managerial experience in multi-department/functional operations;
    • Over 8 years of professional experience in relevant areas of manufacturing, operations, supply chain management, procurement, and quality.
