    Head of Sales

    Location: New York - In the office 3 days a week

    Salary Expectations: Up to $200k base/$370k OTE

    Benefits: Stocks, Accelerators

    I am working with a Series B funded Pre IPO CyberSecurity vendor. They have just secured their Series B and are now looking to double in growth this year. Having spent a few years focussed on R&D and building their product from scratch, they are now focussing on their GTM strategy and building their GTM team.

    They have already brought on some big logos such as the New York Times, Bloomberg and several government agencies and they now want to transfer from a Founder-led sales model to a Sales Team model. So with this role, they are looking for the first Sales person to get their hands dirty selling to customers whilst building a team beneath them. This would be a player coach role where there is no team currently but there is headcount to hire a team once you have fully ramped and settled in.

    Their ICP is Large Enterprise/Named customers across the US - so they are looking for someone that has strong experience selling to these customers and a good rollodex of CISOs to sell to. They are looking for a mature and seasoned seller who is focussed on relationship building.

    This company has an impressive developer team who have built an utterly unique product - there isn't anything like this on the market and that is why they have been so successful already without a sales team behind them. So this is a strong opportunity to come in and build the next big disruptor in the Cyber space.

    This is a hybrid based office role - they are looking for someone that can come into their New York office three days a week. They are in a very high growth mode and as such, they find it is easier to get things done quickly when people are in the same room. Everyone in the company does it and they have a lovely office with a fun, intellectual culture.

    The ideal candidate would have:

    • 10+ years experience in Enterprise Sales at CyberSecurity vendors
    • Experience as the first sales rep in a company that can build a team and territory from scratch
    • Experience building a scalable sales model and processes in place for a sales team to adopt
    • Experience selling to Large Enterprise customers and closing large 6 figure/7 figure deals at Cyber vendors
    • A Rollodex of contacts at Large Enterprise customers
    • Someone that has experience managing a team
