    Kalamaya | Goscha seeks an associate attorney to join its award-winning Criminal Defense and Family Law Teams. We are looking for someone that has "hustle," "grit," and wants to make a difference in individual lives. We handle personal disputes that are highly emotional and important for our clients.

    We describe our firm as an innovative and ambitious law firm that pushes the boundaries to discover new frontiers in family law, personal injuries, and criminal defense in Colorado. Our culture is built on a flexible remote-first structure where we prioritize mentorship while also offering autonomy. We have offices that span Denver, Aspen, Vail, and Glenwood. We are especially looking for a candidate interested in living and practicing law in the Denver-Boulder Metro area or the Vail Valley.

    We've redefined personal injury, divorce, and criminal defense cases from being a damaging process to a healing transformation for individuals and families and are looking for someone who can share our vision to join our team.     The salary range for the position ranges from $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience.

    License to practice in Colorado required.

    The firm offers benefits including health insurance, HSA, retirement and wellness benefits. We have unlimited PTO and vacation time – you take the time that you need as long as you get your work done. We expect an associate attorney to bill at least 1,600 hours per year, but our focus is on developing high-end, skilled trial lawyers.

    Required Skills :

    Job duties will include working with potential or current clients, case investigations, motions practice, research, written discovery, preparing for and taking depositions, trial preparation, and trying cases.

    Ideal Experience:

    The optimal candidate would have experience in either criminal law (former Public Defender, private criminal defense or prosecutor) or family law and looking to expand his or her practice area.
