    The Firm of Cockrel Ela Glesne Greher & Ruhland (CEGR Law) has been working together as partners/attorneys for decades building and protecting Colorado's communities. CEGR Law specializes in supporting our special district clients' needs including general counsel representation and water, land use and development, election, public finance, and employment law for already established special districts, or the organization of new districts.     Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years relevant legal experience with knowledge of Colorado local government, with a special district law background preferred.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    · Highly organized and detail-oriented.

    · Must possess strong written, analytical, and organizational skills (fluent in written and spoken English).

    · Professional Writing Skills: able to draft professional documents that are free of grammar and spelling mistakes.

    · Excellent People Skills: ability to inter-act professionally with people from a broad range of backgrounds.

    · Competent Computer Skills: able to learn new programs quickly and accurately.

    · Strong Critical Thinking Skills: able to problem solve, follow instructions, be creative, use discretion, ask questions when necessary and be detail oriented.

    · Desire to work closely and participate as a team member within CEGR Law.

    · Must be able to work in office, although hybrid work options are available, depending on experience.

    · Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.

    Compensation and Benefits

    Potential salary range is $100,000 to $150,000, along with a tiered incentive compensation plan based on billed hours. Starting salary will be based on experience. Benefits include paid holidays and PTO, certain organization and bar dues, pre-approved CLEs, access to health insurance, and long-term disability, life, and accidental death insurance. A retirement account with CEGR Law which includes a safe harbor contribution by the firm, along with a firm match of employee's 401K contribution and profit sharing (both of which are at the sole discretion of shareholders).
