Job DescriptionCentury Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $40 to $55 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee/manage accounting functions, incl. AP/AR, payroll, GL, tax, month end.
Oversee preparation, review, analysis of financial statements, GL (subledgers & general)
Oversee cash reporting tax reporting, and WIP accrual reporting.
Handle monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis.
Oversee the activities of the finance department, such as accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll.
Evaluate, implement, and streamline policies, procedures, controls, and most methodologies.

Qualifications:

BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another business-related field preferred
5-10 yrs. accounting experience, GAAP, Foundation Software Preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Experience:

Payroll, talent management, and payroll tax knowledge / experience a plus
Progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred.
Past work in technology, analytics, and management experience highly valued
