- Design, develop, and implement models for existing or new services focused on power markets
- Collaborate with software engineers to operationalize and maintain models.
- Gather, vet, and analyse data from diverse public and private sources.
- Deploy production-grade code.
- Bachelor's degree in operations research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields; Master's/PhD preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in power markets focused work.
- Proficiency in operations research theories: linear, nonlinear, and integer programming.
- Knowledge of optimization modelling languages and solvers, particularly CPLEX and Pyomo.
- Experience with unit commitment & dispatch algorithms and leveraging DC power flow equations.
- Ability to work with large datasets using modern data lake solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, especially Python, and deploying production-grade code.
- High energy, attention to detail, self-motivation, innovation, and strong teamwork skills in a diverse environment.

We are currently seeking an Electricity Market Optimization Engineer to join our Data Science team. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world's most dynamic and fastest-growing sector.
Enverus is seeking an engineer with optimization modelling expertise, and with a successful track record of accurately solving high-level problems by using mathematical modelling, optimization, and statistical analysis. Performance Objectives
Salary Range: 140,000 + bonus
