- You will manage the day-to-day operations of the processing teams.
- You will act as a point of escalation for internal customers and external suppliers.
- Collaborate with our BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) partner to ensure the processing teams key performance metrics are met and thebest quality service is delivered to customers.
- Being responsible for identifying and executing potential continuous improvement or automation opportunities within the Accounts Payable team. Planning and delivering high quality solutions whilst working with the appropriate teams ensuring they comply with current legislation
- Analysing data and measuring performance against key metrics.
- Leading on the execution ofthe operational plan to supportthe Global Procurement strategy
- Proven experience in a Accounts Payable environment with a strong knowledge of working Globally.
- Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- Experience leading outsourced/offshored BPO teams is highly desirable.
- Experienced in maintaining SOX controls and RACM.
- Strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen and an effective communicator.

The Source to Pay Operations team is the engine room of the Global Procurement team and is responsible for the smooth running of all tactical and operational aspects. Our primary purpose is to take the strategy of the function and operationalise it in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
This role will be a customer-centric, service delivery, process focussed position, reporting to the Director of Source to Pay Operations and will allow you to work with a wide variety of stakeholders. You will collaborate with local and third-party teams to drive great outcomes for the business.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The full-time salary range is between $82,000 - $92,000
