Job Duties:
The Central Staffing Coordinator is the subject matter expert for the Kronos Scheduling System who is responsible for the staffing schedule for the department of nursing 24/7.
The specialist coordinates full time, part time, pool, float and agency staffing to meet the changing needs of the department.
The specialist is required to assess staffing of all units daily, weekly, monthly and facilitate appropriate staffing.Changes to established schedules are made in the office; which includes but is not limited to call outs, or other approved time changes from Patient Care Manager.
The staffing specialist is also the timekeeper for the department of nursing. On daily basis exception sheets are reviewed for data entry.The specialist supports the Patient Care Managers, Directors and Nursing Supervisors in meeting the varying staffing needs of the organization, as well as providing secretarial and clerical duties.
Requirements:
High school graduate with minimum five years secretarial experience or Associate Degree and three years secretarial experience.
Minimum of two year's experience in a healthcare environment.
