Reporting directly to and under the supervision of the Vice President of Operations, the Member Account Servicing Manager's primary purpose is to assist Great Lakes Credit Union to live out our Vision, "To be the members' trusted financial partner ". Responsible for ensuring that outstanding service is delivered to both internal and external members, in alignment with our Service Promise.
The Member Account Servicing Manager is responsible for supporting the Vice President of Operations in ensuring the continuity and success of the department's daily operations. The Member Account Servicing Manager is responsible for assisting in training and developing the team in Member Account Servicing Department, as well as assuming responsibility for the department. This position performs account resolutions, answering questions from team members, and handling escalations, in support of the Member Account Servicing Department.
As a Member Account Servicing Manager, you will:
• Oversee Member Account Servicing staff responsible for member account solutions on items such as IRA / HSA, Deceased accounts, debit card maintenance, Unclaimed Property, Deceased Accounts, and Legal orders.
• Hire staff as well as separation, training, coaching, mentoring, and providing regular written feedback on job performance.
• Report escalation of systemic issues, risks, or potential losses to direct supervisor.
• Ensure product procedures are accurate and in compliance.
• Assess departmental operations to identify potential improvements and implement changes.
• Authorized to make sound decisions on wire transfer request up to $50,000.00.
• Resolve escalated member issues when necessary.
• Serve as backup manager in the absence of the Deposit Operations Manager.
