    Talent Acquisition Manager


    Founded in 2014 by Jerome Jacques Marie Mage, Jacques Marie Mage is a Los Angeles-based producer of limited-edition designer goods specializing in the micro-production of luxury eyewear for a clientele of discerning tastes.

    With each new collection, JMM embraces a unique palette of precious materials, rich colors, and striking geometric forms, which cleverly reference and beautifully reconfigure the striking individuals, artistic movements, and world events of previous centuries.

    All JMM eyewear is ethically sourced and produced with the utmost respect for industry partners' environment and wellbeing.

    Role Overview:


    Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Manager will manage full cycle recruitment for corporate and retail roles globally.

    They are responsible for sourcing the best talent for the company by partnering with hiring managers to ensure recruitment needs are met.

    This individual is the first point of contact for all potential candidates and must represent the company in the best possible light.

    They will also ensure recruitment processes and best practices are implemented.
    Your responsibilities are – but are not limited to:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Partner with hiring managers to determine skills and qualifications needed for each open role.
    • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms, to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
    • Screen, interview, and assess potential candidates to ensure their skills, experience, and cultural fit align with our company values and objectives.
    • Conduct reference checks and collaborate with HR colleagues to verify background information of potential hires.
    • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate and current candidate data.
    • Act as a brand ambassador for JMM, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
    • Implement effective employer branding strategies to enhance our company's reputation as an employer of choice in our industry.
    • Monitor industry trends and competitive intelligence to develop innovative recruitment approaches and strategies.
    • Participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and industry conferences to promote our company and establish connections with potential candidates.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
    • Develop an internship program to secure a talent pipeline for future JMM Opportunities.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Key Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
    • Proven experience (5 years) as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role in the apparel or fashion industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of the apparel industry's trends, competitors, and talent landscape.
    • Familiarity with various sourcing techniques and tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, and social media platforms.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates, hiring managers, and HR team members.
    • Strong ability to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit to make data-driven hiring decisions.
    • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
    • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach to recruitment.
    • A passion for the fashion industry and a keen eye for talent.
