Responsibilities:

Greet customers and assist them in identifying and purchasing automotive parts.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and offering expert advice on parts selection.
Utilize electronic catalogs and inventory systems to locate and order parts efficiently.
Process parts transactions accurately and handle payments with attention to detail.
Maintain a well-organized and clean parts counter area for an optimal customer experience.
Collaborate with the service and sales departments to ensure timely fulfillment of parts orders.
Keep abreast of product knowledge, updates, certifications and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
Handle telephone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate department or personnel.
Assist in receiving and organizing incoming parts shipments.
Contribute to maintaining an efficient and customer-focused parts department.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field is preferred.
Some experience preferred in both front and back of parts counter.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work at heights of 25 ft.
Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities.
Familiarity with electronic parts catalogs and inventory management systems.
Detail-oriented and organized approach to handling parts transactions.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient computer skills.
Knowledge of automotive systems and parts is a plus.
