Description
:- Greets walkin customers, assesses their needs and gives direction accordingly.
- Answers and screens phones for accurate transfer advisor or department as necessary.
- Assists with estimate prescreen information.
- Assists in scheduling and maintaining repair and estimate appointments.
- Assists with vehicle checkin.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with insurance adjusters.
- Follows up on parts department orders to ensure parts availability.
- Monitors progress and completion of vehicles in the shop and calls customers as necessary.
- Monitors paper flow to ensure that all documents are accounted for, filled out completely and legibly, and filed or distributed to the appropriate parties.
- Prepares final billing for completed repair orders.
- Controls accounts receivable for body repair work.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Pleasant, professional and confident demeanor. Ability to put customers at ease and instill confidence.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with CCC1 and CDK are a plus.
- Bi-Lingual is a plus.
