Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Admissions Assistant.
In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the admissions process and ensuring a smooth transition for prospective patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the admissions process, including reviewing referrals and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with Health insurances to gain prior authorizations
- Conduct facility tours with families
- Collaborate with clinical advisors to ensure accurate and timely processing of patient referrals
- Maintain patient records and update facesheets with relevant information
- Support the admissions team in various administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Experience working with insurance in an healthcare setting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using PCC or equivalent EHR systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Public speaking skills for presentations and facility tours
