    We invite you to join our Foundation team at Scripps Health as a Development Coordinator.

    In this role, you will be responsible for:
    Assisting directors of development in their efforts to cultivate new and upgraded gifts from clinic/hospital donors and prospects.
    Assisting physicians in organizing annual and major giving efforts specific to their areas.
    Assisting development/events staff in creating and coordinating fundraising events to benefit clinic/hospital approved priorities.
    Assisting in planning and implementing programs/events for prospects and donors.
    Assisting in establishing, implementing, and maintaining programs that recognize donors to specified areas on the hospital campus.

    Providing support services needed to operate the development office, such as producing reports, managing mailing lists, and other data-related tasks.

    This is a Full-Time position with a Monday-Friday schedule with normal business hours.

    This position is hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. The onsite office for this position is based in Encinitas.
    Qualifications:


    Required Qualifications:
    Undergraduate degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Two years fund-raising or related volunteer and professional experience, preferably in a medical setting.
    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with varied constituencies, including volunteers, physicians, patients, and donors.
    Excellent writing and verbal skills.
    Computer proficiency, including expertise in Word, Excel and with databases.
    Ability to operate standard office equipment.
    Creative, self-starting, results-oriented and committed to working as part of a team enterprise.
    Ability to organize time effectively and manage many tasks simultaneously.
