ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESJob Summary:
To manage assignedportfolio of key suppliers and product categories across North America with afocus on promoting and growing all applications in Pharma division profitably
Job Description:
Manages an assigned group of suppliers ona North American basis; Participates with sales management andthe business units in establishing recommended pricing and price changes basedon market intel;Contributes and participates withbusiness units in the creation of product line growth strategies for selectedmarket segments;Develops and maintains effective andstrategic relationships with key suppliers; Plans key suppliers business reviews andprovides updates on customer activities as needed;Provides technical support to the salesorganization and/or other members of the marketing, procurement, regulatory andoperations team as required; Ensures that business plans for Pharmaare developed and implemented in a timely and effective manner; Determines potential gaps in productportfolio and investigates possible vendor partners to fill these gaps forPharma applications;Analyzes market trends and preparesforecasts of assigned products to achieve Specialties overall target forinventory turns as well as individual target for dead and extremely slow movingstock;Manages activities throughout the orderfulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure inventory minimum andestablished deadlines are met
IDEAL PROFILEEducation and Experience:
