    Bilingual (Korean & English Language)

    Job Purpose:

    1. Integrated Purchasing items purchase (import items)
    2. Purchasing Planning task

    (i.e. Purchasing strategy, Supplier operation plan, TCI tracking, and others)

    1. Managing Planning part of SCM USA team
    • Main window for Global Purchasing Center

    Global Purchasing Center request following up

    • Managing planning section team members

    Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed)

    1. Ensure appropriate Integrated Purchasing & MRO items are delivered to manufacturing facility including ordering, expedition as requested, and close liaison with manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse personnel where applicable; develop strategically linked and functionally integrated sourcing strategies for a variety of Mando Business needs.
    2. Establish, monitor, and manage relationships with key suppliers and internal functions; anticipate and communicate demand schedule to suppliers from internal customers.
    3. Create supplier specific strategies and improvement initiatives in concert with the appropriate cross functional teams, ie...engineering function, and manufacturing: ensure suppliers have requisite programs in place to respond unanticipated demand spikes as needed; create and manage lead-time reduction programs with key suppliers.
    4. Analyze quotations using broad purchasing principles/concepts/practices in field of specialization for cost/price and value analyses to select, recommend or develop alternative suppliers.
    5. Check/approve purchase requisitions and/or payment invoices; direct preparation of and follow-up on orders to expedite delivery/shipment as needed; obtain certification of delivery and verify against purchase orders
    6. Manage Contracts. (Master contract, Price agreement, Purchasing order, and others)
    7. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required by Manager or Supervisor.
    8. After get a request from Plant Engineers, analyze the demands and effort to make a best decision in purchasing in terms of QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery).
    9. FTA C/O & FTA System management support
    10. CBP Audit and issue follow up
    11. Purchasing planning task (i.e. Purchasing strategy, Supplier operation plan, TCI tracking, and others)
    12. Following up for Central Purchasing Center's request

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree or above in Business or related field
    2. CPM, CPSM preferred
    3. Bilingual in English and Korean required

    Technical Competencies:

    1. Microsoft Package (i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point) mandatory. Must have Excel intermediate skills (i.e. Pivot Tables; writing formulas, importing information from alternate sheets/locations).
    2. FTA (KORUS, USMCA, etc.) understanding
    3. SCM understanding
    4. Active Listening Skills: Able to carefully listen to people, understand the current situation, and then reply with effective solution/suggestion.
    5. Reading Comprehension: Understand written communiques from related departments requesting assistance to solve supply chain issues. Basic understanding of drawings and specifications.
    6. Speaking (Public and Private): Able to convey information verbally in a professional and effective manner so people from different cultural backgrounds can clearly understand the speakers' intent.
    7. Judgment and Decision Making: Considering Cost, Delivery, Quality, and Development related to potential decision paths and then choosing the best option. Able to consider all stakeholders needs when making decision to optimize result.

    Non-Technical Competencies:

    1. Program / Project Management Experience a plus
    2. Critical Thinking: Understand near term, intermediate, and long term supply situations and develop supply plans and/or strategies to maximize value.
    3. Pro-Active: Takes sound action related to responsibilities and reports to Manager for consensus direction.
    4. Team Player: Understands position and is willing and able to support team direction.

    Supervisory Responsibility:

    1. Lead-time tracking for internal customers (i.e. Related functions including MANDO Korea)
    2. Cost analyzing and saving activity tracking
    3. FTA C/O & FTA System management
    4. CBP Audit and issue follow up
