- Demonstrated ability and proven track record in sales leadership, generating new sales prospects, securing new business, and expanding territory sales growth.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain superior attention to detail.
- High degree of computer proficiency including competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Working knowledge and ability with AutoCAD required.
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Support the optimization and retention and renewal of current contracts and existing customer accounts.
- Coordinate internal resources to provide best-in-class pre and post sales service and support to our customers.
- Meet and exceed financial targets and business plans.
- Manage a team of systems managers and other specialists to lead territory consultants to create the solutions for customers' needs in the field; ensure motivation to inspire optimum performance of external regional sales teams.
- Provide sales leadership and technical training. Monitor all current projects ensuring they are progressing properly and promptly.
- Stay up-to-date and familiar with permitting needs and process for all projects.
- Assist in designing space needs and completing space needs analysis.
- Assist with building customer quotes.
- Conduct surveys & complete consulting studies.
- Travel to customer sites for sales calls and presentations.
- Oversee and manage inventory of stocked material.
- Effectively use that intelligence to influence strategy and communicate accordingly throughout SSMH.
- Responsible for overall performance of the Warehouse Products organization; including planning, budgeting, administration, project planning, and marketing strategy.
- Network, create and maintain positive connections with outside contacts such as customers, suppliers, other dealers.
- Promote confidence and trust within the sales organization, and the customer base.
- Interview, hire, train, and provide coaching, performance reviews and disciplinary actions to direct reports and assist and direct managers to do the same.
- Coordinate marketing efforts with both Marketing Branding and Market Development functions including management and implementation of customer intelligence marketing and customer communication programs.
- Maintain and accurately forecast company's booking and revenues for the Warehouse Product Division to executive management.
- Maintain the ability to think creatively to understand and find solutions among associates, customers, suppliers, and other partnerships.
- Maintain a high degree of flexibility due to varied customer base, travel schedules and market driven changes.
- Any other duties assigned needed to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization's Values.
