In this role, you will strategically enhance revenue generation and brand recognition for pre-sold excursions, transfers, and destination services, leveraging diverse channels including consortia, travel agents, online/offline agencies, call centers, and third-party businesses.

    Candidate's must be located in the Midwest Region for this role: Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Missouri, Minnesota

    A successful Business Development Manager will:

    • Develop new and maintain existing relationships with the Travel Agency community.
    • Conduct outside sales calls single & joint with ALGV / other Partners by conducting Webinars and Presentations negotiating sales Agreements with targeted agencies.
    • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and destination blitzes to further ongoing Travel Community education and product awareness.
    • Conduct training on Amstar existing and new products and services to the ALGV, HIC and UVC Call Centers.
    • Provide training and support to new partners on Amstar products and services.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, innovative ways of doing things and grow into new source markets.
    • Act as facilitator between Travel Agent Community and AMS in regard to commission issues, service complaints, pricing requests and site inspections and FAM (familiarization trip).
    • Accurately report current market competitiveness, KPI's and trends.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.

    A successful Business Development Manager will have:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, tourism, or related fields.
    • 4 years in travel industry.
    • 4 years of sales experience.
    • 4 years of experience business support.
    • Sales Management (Desirable), CRM (Desirable).
    • Microsoft Office, Sales CRM's

    • Motivated by success and passionate about working and achieving higher results.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate affectedly and build networks.
    • Maintains a developed business insight.
    • Plans and aligns successfully.
    • Possesses a strategic mindset.
