    SUMMARY:
    As a Construction Project Manager in the Federal Construction sector, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the successful completion of projects within our organization
    Utilizing your expertise in project management, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project resources, and ensure projects are executed according to the highest standards of quality, within allocated budgets, and within specified timelines
    Your leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and results-driven approach will be vital in delivering successful projects and achieving our organizational goals in the Federal Construction space


    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Project Planning and Strategy:
    ' Lead project planning efforts, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in line with federal construction requirements
    ' Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies to ensure efficient execution
    ' Identify and analyze project risks, scope gap, and critical path specific to the federal construction domain, and devise effective strategies to mitigate their impact
    ' Collaborate with stakeholders to align project objectives with federal regulations and strategic initiatives
    ' Define project success criteria and establish performance metrics to evaluate project outcomes in the context of federal construction standards

    Team Management and Leadership:
    ' Build and lead project teams, assigning responsibilities and tasks to team members with expertise in federal construction practices
    ' Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
    ' Effectively manage project resources, optimizing their utilization and allocation based on the specific requirements of federal construction projects
    ' Conduct regular project team meetings to communicate project status, resolve issues, and provide guidance on project priorities
    ' Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovation and implementing best practices within the federal construction project management team

    Project Execution and Monitoring:
    ' Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets in compliance with federal construction regulations
    ' Collaborate closely with project team members to identify and resolve project-related issues and conflicts, ensuring smooth project execution
    ' Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders, providing transparent updates on project performance, risks, and mitigation plans
    ' Ensure project deliverables meet the stringent quality standards specified in federal construction guidelines and are delivered to stakeholders within specified timeframes
    ' Monitor and manage project budgets meticulously, including expense tracking, cost forecasting, and control of project expenditures in line with federal regulations

    Stakeholder Management and Communication:
    ' Establish and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, within the context of federal construction engagements
    ' Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent project expectations and objectives aligned with federal construction requirements
    ' Address stakeholder concerns and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle, taking into account the unique aspects of federal construction projects
    ' Provide regular project status reports and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting accomplishments, challenges, and recommended actions in adherence to federal construction guidelines
    ' Foster a collaborative and transparent communication environment, ensuring stakeholders are well-informed and actively engaged in project decision-making processes
    This job classification may include other duties as required or assigned, which reasonably fall within the scope of responsibilities for this position in the Federal Construction sector

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management) or 10 years equivalent experience.
    • Proven experience as a Project Manager, successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
    • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
    • Sound knowledge of project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and adapt to changing priorities.
    • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices related to project management

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
    • Frequently required to use hand and finger dexterity for typing and handling documents.
    • Occasionally required to bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
    • Occasionally required to lift and carry project materials or equipment.
    • The work environment is typically an office setting with moderate noise levels
