- You will serve as an ASW/USW Combat Systems Test Technician and will be responsible for the requirements generation, test scenario planning, test execution, post-test data analysis, reporting, and support to the system engineer.
- You will demonstrate knowledge and application of technical concepts, skills, and principles in the areas of technical processes and procedures; test plan and scenario development based on system performance thresholds.
- You will demonstrate knowledge of processes, procedures, and their use in support of Navy, Fleet, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), and/or Keyport weapons, combat, and/or sonar systems.
- You will utilize statistics, metrics, and other analytical tools to identify problem areas, determine appropriate improvements, complete those improvements.
- You will be an expert in ASW/USW Combat and Weapon Systems, specifically in the Sonar area with the ability to work with others and sound judgment in making technical decisions.
- You will utilize your knowledge of acoustics and understand the active and passive sonar equations and theory.
- You will be proficient in the maintenance, operations and training (where applicable) of the AN/SQQ-89(V) Systems
- Must be a US Citizen.
