    LABORER with Security Clearance - Honolulu, HI, United States - Department of Defense

    Duties


    • You will follow general instructions to perform work that requires moderately heavy physical effort and may involve a number of successive steps or processes.
    • You will run hand and power lawnmowers; clear small trees and bushes utilizing hatches, hand-saw or clippers and dig ditches where grading and sloping is not required; fill holes with dirt to level bumps and lowing places.
    • You will conduct housekeeping to include picking up trash and paper from grounds and working areas; collecting and emptying garbage cans.
    • You will load and unload hoses from hose carts.
    • You will move and arrange furniture, boxes, etc
    as directed

    • You will be required to frequently lift and carry moderately heavy objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
    • You will be exposed to dust, dirt, noise areas and drafts while working indoors.
    • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift
