    Job Description

    Our client, a leading transportation company, is currently seeking an accomplished Project Manager to join the team.

    Here is an overview of the role:

    1) Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the company project processes and phases

    2) Achieve quality objectives by contributing information and analysis to project plans and reviews

    3) Prepare and complete action plans

    4) Implement quality standards

    5) Identify and resolve problems

    6) Determine system improvements and implement change

    7) Support the project in tailoring, where applicable, processes to the project

    8) Support the project in preparing milestones and facilitating lesson-learned sessions

    9) Plan and perform project process audits, propose actions to solve the issues and ensure that actions are committed by the project and implemented

    10) Plan and perform assessment on project deliverables

    11) Provide feedback to the project and propose improvement actions

    12) Monitor the project quality according to project plans, processes and objectives

    13) Identify, initiate and follow up corrective actions within your own area

    14) Create and update, when necessary, quality plans and QA workload estimate

    15) Enhance the department and the company's reputation by accepting ownership of project quality issues

    16) Assist with ensuring compliance with all standards, rules, and legislation, as requested

    17) Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to the project's quality goals, targets and deliverables

    18) Maintain awareness of the business context and company profitability

    Critical Requirements

    1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

    2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

    3) Recent experience in the transportation industry is strongly preferred

    4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in project management
