    Commercial Accounting Manager

    PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF) is one of the largest independent refiners in North America, operating through its subsidiaries, oil refineries and related facilities. We are seeking a talented Commercial Accounting Manager to join our team as a pivotal member that would play a key role here at PBF Energy. This role would be located onsite at our Company headquarters in Parsippany, NJ.

    The Commercial Accounting Manager will oversee the commercial accounting function on a day to day basis and provide a strong resource for cost teams.

    PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage, develop and supervise a team of accountants and billing analysts
    • Ensure timely and accurate management information to all business users
    • Management of transactional financial controls and processes related to commercial activities including:
      • Inventory valuation and analysis
      • Analysis of the different businesses/product lines
      • P & L Analysis
      • COGS, reporting and general accounting
      • Reading and interpreting contracts
    • Prepares and analyzes reports
    • Work closely with the billing and accounting function on reconciliations
    • Accurately analyze and report financial information
    • Assists in other accounting projects and research as directed
    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's Degree in accounting
    • SAP experience preferred
    • Must be proficient in Excel and Word
    • 5+ plus years' experience in accounting management in the Oil or Chemical industry
    • Possess effective communication skills both verbal and written
    • Working knowledge of accounting theory and principles (GAAP)
    • Strong analytical and accounting and math skills and organizational skills
    • Meet deadlines and adjust to multiple work demands
    • RightAngle experience preferred
