    Description

    PALAZZO is seeking to immediately hire an investment banking analyst. This candidate must have at least one year of relevant investment banking, finance, corporate development experience, or other relevant experience. The position is a combination of quantitative (financial models, financial statement analysis, and valuations) and qualitative (business development research, market research, and development of presentations) skills. This is an outstanding opportunity for high-achieving individuals to be part of a growing, industry-focused investment bank that supports and offers various paths for personal and professional development. The firm's lean structure allows for analysts to gain significant hands-on deal experience and to interface with both Managing Directors and client executives.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Identify, research, and analyze M&A and financing opportunities
    • Review and evaluate financial statements to build financial models and conduct valuation analyses
    • Prepare information memoranda and other transaction-related documentation
    • Research company information and industry trends
    • Perform and manage client due diligence

    Qualifications:

    • One year of prior M&A experience, finance, or related corporate experience
    • Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university (preferably in finance)
    • Exceptional academic record
    • We seek committed, resourceful, and proactive individuals with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to support our M&A and capital raising engagements
    • Effective writing skills to support the creation and delivery of presentations to prospective client management teams and potential investors
    • Experience with financial modeling and corporate valuations, and an understanding of third-party due diligence
    • Organized, thorough, and detail-oriented
    • Self-starter able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
