- Doctorate (i.e., Ph.D., DBA, Ed.D., JD) in a closely related field and current within his/her discipline.
- Teaching experience with graduate-level courses.
- Candidates must be able to teach traditional on-ground classes on our main campus in Waterbury, CT, in an accelerated 8-week format. (Additional part-time assignments may be available teaching MBA courses to online class populations using accelerated 8-week formats.)
- Employ a range of strategies to foster student learning to engage in student discussion in an active learning environment on campus, online, and in a virtual setting.
- Promptly assess student performance and appraise students of progress.
- Applied technology skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) are required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning.
- Knowledge of educational Learning Management Systems (Such as Blackboard LMS) is a plus.
