    Position Summary : The Application Support Specialist oversees application support of enterprise applications in use by Goodwill Olympics & Rainier Region. Inclusive of but not limited to: application testing, patching, upgrading end user support, training and maintenance. The ideal candidate is highly skilled at becoming a subject matter expert on applications, optimizing automation and functionality, and transferring knowledge and solutions to the user base.

    Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide technical and system application administration expertise related to primarily Microsoft applications such as Dynamics365, Dynamics GP, MS Office and more.
  • Monitor performance and functionality of technologies and applications.
  • Provide assistance for technical and system application issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with IT Infrastructure related to support and maintenance of application servers and hardware components.
  • Prepare functional and technical documentation for application configuration and training.
  • Evaluates and recommends changes, updates and support maintenance.
  • Participate in project requirement gathering and project delivery.
  • Understand and document best practices as described by the industry or vendor.
  • After hours support as required
  • Requirements

    Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

  • Associates degree in a related field such as Information Technology/Services or 3+ years experience in related technology field
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft SQL, etc.
  • Willingness to learn applications that support various business units
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across the department , organization and with vendors.
  • Effective troubleshooting skills
  • Great customer service
  • Experience with Retail (Microsoft D365), Financial (Great Plains), and CRM software (CaseWorthy, Salesforce) is a plus

  • Language: Must have the ability to read, write and speak fluent English, able to communicate effectively with management, other departments, employees and the general public. Excellent interpersonal communication skills with all levels of the organization.

    Computer: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Strong technical skills. Must be able to adapt to new technical concepts. Must have application integration experience.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Washington State Driver's license and acceptable driving record.

    Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is located in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
