    Description

    Sinegal Estate is a family-owned winery located in St. Helena, focusing on providing high-quality wine at an affordable price. We are searching for a sales professional situated in Houston to expand our brands in Southeast and South Texas. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record as a wine sales expert in the On-Premise Channel and strong connections with Key Accounts in Houston, San Antonio, and Austin.     Overview:

    As part of the team reporting to the Midwest Division Manager, this role requires a deep understanding of the Key Markets in Southeast and South Texas. Primarily focused on Houston and its neighboring markets, with occasional travel to San Antonio and Austin. This is a sales role, not a Distributor Manager position. Your success will depend on your ability to engage with accounts and foster strong relationships. The Sales Manager will actively seek and close market opportunities in both On-Premise and Off-Premise channels.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Based in Houston.
    • Engage in market activities 4-5 days a week.
    • Consistent presence in Houston and nearby markets with occasional visits to San Antonio and Austin.
    • Cultivate long-term relationships with existing accounts and establish new distribution channels by adding new accounts.
    • Regularly communicate with accounts through on-site visits to offer product samples, assist customers, and monitor inventory levels.
    • Create priority lists for key accounts and monitor performance.
    • Participate in consumer events, wine dinners, and trade tastings.
    • Meet annual targets as set by the management.
    • Ensure adherence to brand standards, retail pricing, and program compliance.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and distribution channels.
    • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts.
    • Provide necessary reports to the management in a timely manner.
    • Comply with company policies and industry regulations.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in fine wine sales.
    • Extensive industry knowledge and established relationships with Key accounts.
    • Demonstrate honesty and integrity in all business dealings.
    • Passionate about fine wine and possesses in-depth wine knowledge.
    • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and willing to take on new challenges.
    • Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to lift 40 pounds and travel by car for extended periods.

    Compensation:

    $100k salary with a 20% annual bonus along with T&E, Car allowance, 401k match, and 15 days of PTO.
