The Associate Director, Marketing Analytics and Data Consulting, is responsible for helping to leading, developing and managing some aspects of Client Analytics, back office analytics and decision modeling.
This includes, but not limited to deliverables design, data capture development, and implementation processes.The Associate Director will work with a variety of tools and data sources and partner with various stakeholders to continuously evolve the data inputs needed, the metrics used to measure the effectiveness and ROI of activity across all campaign types and activity.
We are looking for people in both Boston and New York and would allow people to sit in either office.
Job Description :DESCRIPTION
Specific responsibilities include:
Assist in business development and growth by working with partners and clients in developing and implementing new analytical methodologies with a targeted result of increasing revenue.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop client tools and services such as dashboard development, decision aids and business case analysis to support programs, creative and recommended solutions.
Work closely with manager and the larger team to develop data strategies (e.g. what we should capture, how we should capture it, and the triggers/decisions as a result, etc.)
Identify, partner with other department team members to develop and implement operations procedures and help educate the analytic group in the management of projects and resources.
Desired Skills and Experience
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
5+ years of experience in marketing analytics or business intelligence (focused on analytics).
Experience working for a Media/Advertising agency is STRONGLY PREFERRED
Solid understanding of the digital landscape is a must. Good understanding of traditional media is preferred.
Must have experience managing team members and understanding the dynamics and complexities of managing and growing a team.
Demonstrated ability to apply cutting edge analytics techniques to business problems and to leverage external thinking (from academia and/or other industries)
Ability to translate data into insights, to tell a simple story through data for different audiences familiar or less familiar with more technical aspects of data and measurement.
Preferred:
Experience with statistical modeling software (GAUSS, MATLAB, R, SAS, SPSS) and enterprise business intelligence tools such as Tableau
Strong knowledge of strategic marketing, media, social, website analysis, audience targeting tools and vendors, including both quantitative tracking and research methodologies
Good understanding of 3rd party measurement offerings in the space (Ad Effectiveness, Sales Impact, Foot traffic measurement, MTA, MMM, other) and hands on experience with some
Strong analytical skills, reporting, dash-boarding, modeling and advanced analytics experience is required
Advanced MS Office skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good track record of implementing operational excellence (process efficiencies, effective tools, and technologies) in an analytics function.
Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries: ability to share techniques with analytical community
Compensation $110K-$125K
