    Location: Remote (For Non-Local) or Hybrid (Local to NYC area)

    Position Summary:

    The Director of Analytics provides oversight and analytics leadership to support ongoing operational needs. Collaborates with Executive Team and leaders from key business functions (sales, marketing, underwriting, implementation, client services, clinical operations) to design, refine, automate, and maintain data analytics capabilities.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Provide oversight and analytics leadership to support ongoing operational needs
    • Provide oversight and management to team members and managers within your department
    • Manage workloads leveraging agile principles
    • Guide development, using sound SDLC principals including testing, and automation for sustainability.
    • Collaborate with Executive Team and leaders from key business functions (sales, marketing, underwriting, implementation, client services, clinical operations) to design, refine, automate, and maintain data analytics capabilities
    • Develop ad hoc and standard reports to support internal and external analytics and reporting needs
    • Establish and manage workflow for inbound and outbound data requests, reporting deliverables, and other inquiries
    • Collaborate with client management to interpret and translate data findings into strategic metrics and actionable recommendations
    • Lead development and delivery of client deliverables
    • Integrate quantitative and qualitative analyses to provide strategic insights to clients (plan performance, utilization trends, cohort analyses, savings projections)
    • Work with Executive Leadership on special projects and new product initiatives
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Undergraduate bachelor's degree, with record of strong academic performance in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Economics
    • Advanced degree preferred, but not required
    • PBM / health plan experience preferred
    • 8+ years of proven experience in data & analytics, benefits consulting, financial consulting, etc.
    • 3+ years experience as a manager or other leadership experience
    • Experience performing complex analyses on large sets of data
      Knowledge of data management, statistics, modeling
    • Experience working with structured and unstructured data
    • Proficient in SQL, Excel, and other data visualization tools
    • Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, driving high performance, meeting deadlines, and executing on deliverables
    • Ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to shift priorities easily
    • Attention to detail & commitment to delivering high quality work product
