    WHAT YOU'LL DO


    Global Services (GS) is made of several functional areas and represents BCG's internal Business Services Team (non-client facing). As part of our GS Human Resources team you will collaborate and work closely with one of our GS HR teams (GS HR Operations) to assist them with a variety of operational activities related to our core HR workforce data management processes.

    This intern position offers a great opportunity to learn and contribute to an HR team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Primarily, this person will assist the Global Services – Boston Local Human Resources team, which consists of the HR Senior Manager, HR Manager HR Senior Coordinator and HR Coordinator, on various projects and support activities within the various HR competencies.

    The work will involve supporting the GS Boston Local HR team in many different capacities. In addition, there will be several specific projects that the individual will take ownership for and manage from start to finish. These projects will be directly related to local Human Resources. This will include, but is not limited to:
    • Assist with employee onboarding process including scheduling orientation, processing new hire paperwork, etc.
    • Support Global Services Mobility programming
    • Assist with maintenance and auditing of employee personnel files to comply with applicable legal requirements and internal standards
    • Support co-op program affiliation events administration in partnership with Pier4 HR teams and assist with administrative preparation for following cycle
    • Oversee maintenance and administration of Buddy Program for new joiners
    • Creating ad hoc reports / dashboards to track key data and metrics
    • Other projects as needed and assigned

    YOU'RE GOOD AT

    • Because of the confidential nature of the HR data, we are looking for a person with a highly developed sense of discretion and confidentiality.
    • The individual must be extremely well organized and detail oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills, and able to work both in a team and independently.

    • Interacting and communicating with people across the organization
    • Effectively managing your stakeholders and anticipating their needs

    YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

    • Computer proficiency is required (MS Word, Excel, Forms, PowerPoint and Sharepoint).
    • Prior work/internship experience is preferred
    • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program. Concentration in Human Resources is preferred.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States
