We are currently seeking a Client Accounting Services Manager with 7-10 years of experience in accounting to join our Outsourcing Department. This position's primary responsibilities will include review of monthly client accounting and financial statements in a cloud-based environment for clients. Additionally will serve in an advisory position with the clients to help them achieve their goals. This position offers challenging assignments, growth and experience in modern accounting technologies, an excellent salary, and a generous benefits package.

    This position is full time with some expanded hours required from January through April.

    Requirements:

    • 7-10 years of experience, mix of public and private accounting preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA preferred but not required.
    • Advanced knowledge of accounting theory/practice.
    • Advanced accounting experience/skills.
    • Proficient knowledge and application of the relevant tax and accounting professional standards, and emerging laws and regulations.
    • Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills with both clients and co-workers.
    • Have a desire to work in a high tech, fast changing environment where utilizing modern technology solutions is something that you enjoy and embrace.

    Job Duties:

    • Project Management – plan, manage, and deliver quality services on time and within budget
    • Conduct and document own research and formulate conclusions.
    • Coach Associates, Senior Associates, and Supervisors in area of specialty and provide on the job learning opportunities.
    • Contribute relevant material to department projects and initiatives.
    • Plan, organize, and control multiple responsibilities and resources to meet assignment objectives and anticipate problems/proactively address issues.
    • Effectively manage multiple assignments going on at one time.
    • Build long-term relationships with clients – gain trust and respect based on demonstrated understanding of their business and ability to help achieve improvement goals.
    • Provide excellent client service, demonstrated through effective communication, timeliness, responsiveness, proactiveness, client confidence and quality of work.
    • Play a role in helping the firm grow by being aware of client targets and proposal initiatives across the firm and actively participate in the pursuit of new clients.
    • Demonstrate leadership of line of business, special service, or repeatable model that leads to new revenue and margin.
    • Understand all services provided by HSC and look to expand existing services to clients.

    • Demonstrate leadership in department or firm-level training.
    • Effectively delegate work while maintaining responsibility for ultimate outcome.
    • Provide meaningful involvement in process improvements that increase revenue or reduce costs.
    • Understand the limits of personal knowledge; ask questions and seeks assistance to clarify technical issues.
    • Exhibit all attributes of the 5C's (Caring, Curious, Collaborative, Courageous, Critical thinkers) in serving clients.
