Job Summary:
Join Midea America in our mission to expand market share in the home appliance industry As a Sales Manager, your primary focus will be supporting the Costco account along with developing and growing other regional accounts (Fred Meyer, Bi-Mart and Grocery channel).
This individual will be responsible for sales and promotional activity across all brands of Midea appliances, identify new business opportunities, and lead strategic growth initiatives.
A successful candidate for this role preferably would have sales experience across home appliances, seasonal AC, fans and heaters, floorcare and small appliance categories.
This individual will foster relationships with key customers, and effectively collaborate across Midea's cross functional teams to deliver the annual Business Plan (BP).
This position will own account management responsibilities with key customers and report to a Sales Director.If you are a dynamic and results-driven professional with a passion for sales, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact with a rapidly growing brand.
Job Responsibilities:
Business planning and channel expansion.
Monitor overall account performance, identify opportunities and challenges, and develop appropriate action plans.
Own account management responsibilities for select customers and support on some national retailers.
Proactively lead problem solving efforts via logical and persuasive communications while pursuing "win win" solutions.
Collaborate with various Midea cross functional teams, including product management, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, finance, and service, to meet account performance objectives and manage stakeholder expectations.
Achieve assigned KPI's for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.Closely collaborate with customers and Midea operations/supply management departments to provide accurate sales forecasting.
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of account management experience within the Regional, Specialty or National retail channels.
Major Home Appliance, Small Domestic Appliance, Seasonal AC, Fan and Heaters experience.
Demonstrated success developing and growing sales with new customers.
Customer Service, Product Training, Forecasting, Market Analysis, Closing Skills, Negotiation, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships.
Travel:
Regularly Domestic and Occasionally Internationally.
