    Employee Relations Specialist

    Position Highlights
    • Work location: 612 E. Lamar, Arlington, Texas 76011 and within healthcare facilities throughout the metroplex
    • Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or relevant field required
    • 3 years experience in employee relations or in a human resources generalist level role
    • Employee Relations, HR investigations experience in a healthcare setting preferred
    • SHRM-CP within 12 months of hire required or
    • SHRM - SCP within 12 months of hire required or
    • PHR upon hire required or
    • SPHR upon hire required or
    • Other nationally recognized Human Resources related certification upon hire required
    Position Responsibilities

    The incumbent will serve as the principal investigator for employee initiated disputes as assigned.

    In addition to the required qualifications, a successful Employee Relations Specialist:

    •Manages investigations end-to-end, including intake meetings, background research, investigative interviews, report creation, and debrief meetings with leadership.

    •Manages conflict at the lowest level of the organization and negotiates resolutions.

    •Consults with key stakeholders such as legal team and other interdisciplinary teams (as needed) to assess organizational risk.

    •Collaborates with team members in the delivery of ongoing programs and services.

    •Collaborates in the development of solutions for systemic or departmental issues revealed during the investigative process.
