SummaryThis position is located in the Office of Congressional Relations at Peace Corps Headquarters in Washington .
The Congressional Relations Office reports directly to the Director of the Office of External Affairs and is responsible for coordinating all communications with Congress and serves as liaison to Capitol Hill.
DutiesUnder the supervision and direction of the Director of Congressional Relations, the Congressional Relations Specialist will be responsible for providing support and quality control on all informational material and documentation prepared by this office.
The incumbent serves as the lead on all congressional constituent inquiries, as well as working with internal offices on various Peace Corps policies.
The incumbent takes on special projects, including targeted research, coordination of congressional events and the production of the agency's annual budget documents.
The incumbent will be responsible for information management and maintaining hard copy and electronic file systems orderly and up to date.
